OUTDOOR: Put together an excellent rookie campaign campaigning across the long-distance loops for the Green and White... Delivered a standout performance at the Wake Forest Invitational, shattering his season-best in the 5000m with a swift 3:44.65 to place 5th overall... Logged a solid double-back performance at the Jesse Owens Track & Field Classic, recording a season-best 13:42.99 in the 5000m en route to a fifth place finish... Represented Michigan State on the conference stage at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships, battling a tough field in his collegiate postseason 5,000m debut to cross the line in 14:26.63… Ended his sensational freshman year at competing in the 5,000m run at the NCAA First Round in Lexington, Kentucky.
