Opened the winter schedule at the Simmons-Harvey Invitational, locking down a fourth-place finish in the 800m after crossing the line in 1:54.19... Competed in the 800m (1:56.16) and ran a leg on the 4x400 relay team (3:23.46) at the Meyo Invitational... Logged a 4:11.92 performance in the mile loop at the GVSU Big Meet... Set a lifetime personal record in the mile at the Alex Wilson Invitational, capturing a fifth-place finish with a swift 4:07.53... Capped his debut winter season at the Big Ten Indoor Championships, running the 800m leg to help the distance medley relay squad secure an eighth-place scoring finish for the Spartans with a time of 9:43.69.Â
OUTDOOR: Campaigned consistently as a high-level middle-distance option during his rookie spring stretch... Started the outdoor sequence at the Raleigh Relays, clocking a 3:57.72 in the 1500m... Stepped up on his home track at the Auto-Owners Insurance Spartan Invite, securing a sixth-place finish in the 1500m (3:53.40) while helping the 4x400 relay team take fourth (3:27.05)... Delivered a masterpiece performance at the Wake Forest Invitational, shattering his personal record in the 1500m to capture a third-place podium finish with a blistering time of 3:46.79...
