2007 (Freshman): Redshirted with an ACL injury ... Played on the USA Junior National Team in July and won the World Championship ... Defeated Japan 3-1 to capture the title, maintaining a perfect record (10-0) in the tournament held in Enschede, Netherlands.
Prior to MSU: Competed for coach Lorie Chandler at El Camino High School ... During prep career, two-time all-city, all-league and two-time Scholar-Athlete honoree ... As a sophomore, led the Sylmar Spartans with a .640 batting average, a .684 on-base percentage, 24 runs batted in and five homeruns ... In 2005, led the El Camino Conquistadors to the CIF City Section Softball Championships ... Member of the USA Junior National Team which won the gold medal at the Pan American Qualifier in November 2006 ... Finished Pan American Qualifier with a .535 batting average (15-for-28), including five doubles, three triples, nine RBI and 13 runs scored ... Also garnered all-tournament accolades for Team USA.
