2023 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Played in seven games (vs. Richmond, Washington, Rutgers, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio State) to earn his first letter . . . played 24 snaps on defense and 27 snaps on special teams . . . recorded three tackles . . . made collegiate debut vs. Richmond in Week 2 and collected one assisted tackle . . . had a season-high two tackles vs. Washington.
HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL DATA: Rated one of the best overall players in the state of California in the Class of 2023 by ESPN (No. 61) and On3 (No. 70) . . . ranked one of the top safety prospects in the nation by ESPN (No. 51) . . . named one of the top defensive backs in the Los Angeles-area by the Los Angeles Daily News . . . led Simi Valley with four interceptions for 46 yards and 13 passes defended as a junior in 2021, in addition to 39 tackles . . . also had 13 catches for 292 yards and three touchdowns . . . helped the Pioneers to a 10-1 overall record in 2021 . . . was named a team captain as a senior in 2022 but was injured his senior season . . . played for Coach Jim Benkert . . . also ran track for Simi Valley High School . . . was a Coastal Canyon League champion in the 110-meter hurdles and the 4x100 relay . . . one of his relay teammates was fellow incoming freshman Jaelon Barbarin . . . son of Randy and Angela Brown . . . kinesiology major.
