Second-year receiver redshirted after playing in four games during the 2020 season.
2020 SEASON: Hauled in 10 receptions for 223 yards in four games to preserve his redshirt year . . . averaged 22.3 yards per catch . . . missed final three games of the season due to an injury . . . had breakout game at Michigan, earning Big Ten Co-Freshman of the Week and Pro Football Focus National True Freshman of the Week for record-setting performance against the Wolverines on Oct. 31 . . . 8-of-10 (.800) catches went for either a first down or touchdown, including four on first down and three on third down . . . played a total of 166 offensive snaps . . . did not play in Penn State, Ohio State or Northwestern games due to injury . . . started Indiana game, but did not have a catch before injury limited action to just 33 snaps . . . had one catch for 22 yards at Iowa . . . set an MSU freshman single-game record with 196 receiving yards on eight catches (24.5 avg.) in the win over No. 13 Michigan . . . making first career start, made several big plays, including catches of 50, 40, 31 and 30 yards against the Wolverines . . . hauled in a 30-yard pass from Rocky Lombardi in the end zone in the first quarter for first career touchdown as a Spartan . . . made Spartan debut in season opener vs. Rutgers, with one catch for 5 yards, and was target on two other passes.
