Bio
Elissa Unger joined the Michigan State Athletic Department[apos]s development staff in November 2012.
As Assistant Director of Special Gifts, Unger is charged with developing and managing a portfolio of special and major gift prospects, with focus on solicitations of $25,000 and above. Unger has also worked with donor relations, stewardship, and annual giving while with the Spartan Fund.
Unger is a former field hockey letterwinner (2006-10) and Big Ten Champion at Michigan State. She earned her bachelor[apos]s degree in hospitality business from MSU in 2010. She continued her education by earning her master[apos]s in sport and recreation management from Kent State University in 2012 while working in KSU[apos]s athletic development office.
