2020 (JUNIOR): Earned Big Ten Distinguished Scholar recognition ... Academic All-Big Ten selection ... Made six appearances, all in relief, with a 1-1 record, firing 10 strikeouts in 9.2 IP ... Posted season-high five Ks in first appearance of season, going 4.0 IP and earning the win on Feb. 15 vs. Morehead State, yielding just one hit and one run ... Also rang up two strikeouts on two other outings, Feb. 22 vs. Merrimack in 2.0 IP and March 4 vs. USC-Upstate in 2.1 IP ... Chose Michigan State because both of his parents went to MSU and it has been a dream of his to pitch for the Green and White, and because of the campus environment and the coaching staff ... Selected Michigan State over Central Michigan, Michigan, Ohio and Wright State.
