Spartan Men’s Tennis Heads South for Clash With Vanderbilt Sunday

Michigan State returns to the court for its second-straight challenge against an SEC foe.
EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State men's tennis is back on the road, heading south to Nashville, Tenn., to take on Vanderbilt Sunday, Feb. 15 at 1 p.m.
This will be the Spartans' second-straight match against an opponent from the Southeastern Conference after taking on No.14 South Carolina on Jan. 23 in the ITA Kickoff Weekend. After a competitive opening to the spring slate, the Green & White are looking to find their rhythm early in the competition to gain momentum.
Michigan State will be looking to take an early lead with the doubles point and gain control of the match. Securing the opening point has proven to be an important role in Spartan success.

The series between the Spartans and the Commodores is currently tied at three, with the Green & White on a two-match win streak. The Spartans aim to come out strong and take the first lead in the series.
