2016: Opened the season at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational in the varsity four, (3/12-13) and avenged an early-session loss to Kansas in the afternoon. Kansas was second behind Oklahoma in the morning, and two lengths ahead of MSU, (7:29.94-7:37.95). In the afternoon MSU bested Kansas to finish third behind Virginia and Notre Dame, and was clocked in a time of 7:18.24 -- two full seconds ahead of the Jayhawks (7:20.22). Wrapped up the racing at Oak Ridge with a second-place finish to Minnesota (7:51.120), ahead of UCF and West Virginia ... Finished third in both third varsity four races at the Big Ten/ACC Challenge (4/2) in Columbus, posting times of 8:18.0 and 8:36.9 in rapidly declining conditions throughout the day ... Split action at the Big Ten Double Dual in Princeton, NJ (4/9) in the second varsity eight, defeating host Rutgers by open water in the morning (7:24.0) but falling to Ohio State in the afternoon (8:09.4) ... Finished seventh in the morning session of Saturday racing at the Clemson Invitational (4/16-17), and sixth in the Saturday evening session -- all behind several nationally ranked boats ... Finished seventh in the Sunday session at Clemson ... In a three-school race in Columbus, raced in the varsity four and finished behind the host Buckeyes and Syracuse (4/24)... Finished third behind No. 10 Michigan and (RV) Louisville in the varsity four (4/30), racing on Belleville Lake in Ann Arbor ... In the varsity four, finished seventh at the Big Ten Championships held in Indianapolis (5/15), clocked in a time of 7:41.863
2015 Won all three of her second novice eight races in the seven seat at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational (3/14-15), twice beating Alabama and once beating Louisville, all by open-water margins ... Moved into the bow seat in the novice eight starting in the second week of the racing season ... Had strong performances in the in a close finish ahead of Louisville (6:37.07-6:37.51) and an open-water over the Notre Dame novice eight (6:45.14-7:04.51) in a double dual at Ohio State (3/28) ... In a double-dual at Michigan (4/11), posted a pair of open-water victories over Big Ten rivals Iowa (6:54.30-7:07.45) and Indiana (6:47.1-6:55.9) ... Won two of three races at the Clemson Invitational (4/18-19) by at least six seats, and finished second to Ohio State by a bowball in the third (6:43.0-6:43.3) ... Second in a race with Syracuse, Michigan and Ohio State in Columbus (4/25), behind the host Buckeyes (6:48.3-6:51.0) ... Finished second in a Big Ten showdown in Baraboo, Wisconsin, finishing just over two seats behind Wisconsin (7:16.468) in a time of 7:18.663, and open water ahead of the Golden Gophers ... Finished second to the Buckeyes in the novice eight second semifinal at the Big Ten Championships in Indianapolis (5/16-17), and pulled to a bronze-medal finish behind Ohio State and Wisconsin in the Grand Final.
Prior to MSU: Attended Perry High School... Lettered in cross country, basketball, and track & field ... Four-year All-Academic and 2nd team All-Conference in 2012 & 2013 for cross country ... 4-year All-Academic and 2013 Academic All-State in 2013 for track.
