Finished first nearly a full length ahead of second-place Penn (7:54.9), and 18 seconds ahead of third-place Louisville as part of the novice eight at the Clemson Invitational (4/19)... Finished first in the novice eight on day two of the Clemson Invite (4/20), finishing six seats ahead of second-place Indiana and besting Syracuse, Oregon State, Washington State, Clemson, and Duke by open water... Held off Wisconsin in the final 500 to win by a half-length and defeated Minnesota by open water in the second novice eight at Michigan (4/12)... Defeated Kansas by 11 seconds at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational (3/15).
