CAREER NOTES: Transfer from Minnesota joined the Spartan program in May 2021 . . . nickname is “Tank” . . . made the position change from linebacker to defensive end during preseason camp in 2021 . . . has played in 12 games the past two seasons (2021-22) with five tackles.
2022 SEASON (REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE): Played in six games, primarily on special teams . . . had one tackle on special teams.
2021 SEASON (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN): Played in six games to earn his first letter . . . had four tackles (two solo, two assists), all on special teams . . . after playing in season opener at Northwestern, missed next seven games due to an injury before returning to action in Purdue game . . . played 38 snaps at defensive end on third-down situations . . . saw action on 36 plays on special teams . . . posted two tackles on special teams vs. Maryland and played a season-high 20 snaps on defense against the Terrapions . . . made Spartan debut in season-opener at Northwestern, registering two tackles with both coming on special teams.
