2020 (REDSHIRT-SOPHOMORE): Did not see any action while recovering from offseason surgery.
2019 (REDSHIRT-FRESHMAN): Redshirted the season with an injury.
2018 (FRESHMAN): Made 38 appearances with 37 starts ... Batted .259 with 37 hits, including four doubles and totalled 13 RBI ... Had a .933 fielding percentage ... Opened season with a five-game hitting streak (Feb. 17-24) ... Was second on team with 12 multiple hit outings, including 11 games tallying two hits and one three-hit outing ... Second on team with six total sacrifices, ranking second on team with four sac bunts, while ranking tied for second with two sac flies ... Posted two multi-RBI outings, led by career-high three vs. Nebraska (April 7), in same game that scored career-best three runs.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-year letterwinner at Brother Rice High School (Illinois) for head coach John McCarthy, where he earned Rawlings All-America honors ... Was a two-time all-conference selection and helped the Crusaders win the Catholic League Blue Conference title for the second time in three years, reaching the state semifinals last season, finishing with a 35-4 record and the No. 11 team in the country according to USA Today rankings ... Hit .398 during his junior season with 15 RBI and 17 stolen bases ... Has 55 career stolen bases ...
