2024 (SENIOR): Garnered College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District accolades ... Made 12 appearances on the mound, making four starts, posting a 2-3 record in 36.2 IP, with 28 strikeouts and 18 walks, logging a 5.40 ERA ... Rang up multiple strikeouts in eight of the 12 outings, highlighted by season-best five Ks vs. Central Michigan (April 9), as well as adding four punchouts in final outing at a Spartan, opening Senior Weekend vs. Nebraska (May 16) ... Also tallied three Ks in Victory for MSU at Georgia (Feb. 28) and at Purdue (April 13) ... Limited opposition to two or fewer hits in six outings, highlighted by no hits vs. Ohio State (April 28) ... Earned Second-Team All-Region honors after helping the Reivers to a 50-10 record, finishing as runner-up at the Region XI Championship, after a 38-4 mark in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference action ... Posted a 7-2 record in 12 appearances with 10 starts, logging 68 Ks and just 16 BB in 50.0 IP (12.24 K/9) with a 3.60 ERA, tallying one complete game ... Logged a 5-1 conference mark.
2020 Summer: Played in the Northwoods League for the Green Bay Booyah … Named Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night for July 27 after firing eight strikeouts, while allowing just one run and four hits in 5.0 IP.

Was a three-time First-Team All-State honoree (2017-19), including setting the school record for single-game strikeouts with 16 ... Rated at No. 188 overall by Prep Baseball Report ... Was also tabbed as a 2019 Perfect Game/Rawlings Preseason All-American and Central All-Region team member … Selected to play in the 2016 and 2017 Perfect Game Underclass All-American Games … Was named the Most Valuable Pitcher in the 2019 Perfect Game Iowa Spring League after striking out 27 batters and allowing just 10 hits in 12.0 innings … Also a two-year letterwinner on the basketball team, helping the Hawks to a 17-4 record in senior season, earning two-time All-Conference and All-Metro honors, as well as team captain as a senior ... Father, Brent Cook, played basketball and football at Missouri Southern State University, earning All-American honors at tight end in 1977, and still holds several of the Lions’ receiving records for a tight end, and went on to play for the St. Louis Cardinals ... Family has owned one of the largest hog farms in Missouri since 1832 ... Majoring in communications ... Lists his father as his biggest baseball influence because he got him into the sport and pushed him to where he’s at today ... Lists winning state championship his freshman year of high school as most memorable athletic experience ... Chose MSU over Missouri and TCU.
