HIGH SCHOOL: Was a three-year letterwinner at DePaul College Prep for coaches Sam Colon and Brian Costello ... Earned first-team Chicago Catholic League All-Conference accolades as a senior and was named Chicago Catholic League White Division Player of the Year after helping the Rams to a 23-16 overall record as a senior, finishing fourth in the IHSA 2A State Playoffs, winning the super sectional championship along the way ... Posted a 5-0 regular-season record and a 2.68 ERA with 61 strikeouts, finishing with a 6-1 record and a 2.35 ERA in 50.2 IP as a senior ...
