Pre-MSU: Two-year letterwinner under Kim Norton at Mercy High School...led team to a fourth-place finish at the state finals her senior season...also lettered in lacrosse and volleyball...co-captain of the field hockey and volleyball teams...earned all-state honors in field hockey and lacrosse in 2001...named 2001 team field hockey MVP...an all-region, all-league and all-city selection for volleyball in 2001 and 2002...member of the volleyball academic all-state team...posted 25 shutouts in the last three years of her high school career, including an 11-game shutout streak her sophomore season...member of National Honor Society...recipient of her school's English departmental award.
