EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State head field hockey coach Tamara Durante announced two additions to her coaching staff on Wednesday. Bridgette Street and Emma Hilton will join the Spartans as assistant coaches in 2026.
Street arrives in East Lansing following five seasons as an assistant coach at Colgate (2021-25). Her coaching experience also includes time spent as a USA Field Hockey Nexus coach and site director for the last five years (2021-25), coaching Nexus Championship 14U (2023) and 21U (2024, 2025) programs. Prior to Colgate, Street served as an assistant coach at Queens University from 2018-19 and Muhlenberg College from 2014-17.
As a player, Street was the starting goalkeeper for four seasons at Appalachian State where she recorded 608 saves, the third-most saves in program history. Street served as team captain for the Mountaineers in 2010 and 2011.
Hilton spent 2025 as a graduate assistant at Ohio following a successful playing career at Ball State, and was previously set to join Ball State as an assistant coach for the 2026 season.
A five-year member of the Cardinal field hockey program, Hilton started 73 games as a defensive midfielder, recording eight goals and 17 assists and serving as team captain during her junior and senior seasons. Hilton was a five-time Academic All-MAC honoree, also receiving the MAC Presidential Award and the NCAA Women's Enhancement Scholarship.
A leader in the community, Hilton co-founded The Next Play, a support group under the Ball State Student-Athlete Advisory Committee designed to help graduates transition out of collegiate sports.
