Elle Adrian Breaks School to Highlight Day Two of the B1G Indoor Track & Field Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Four Spartans reached the podium on Day Two of the Big Ten Indoor Track & Field Championships at Indiana Farm Bureau Fall Creek Pavilion in Indianapolis.
Elle Adrian broke her own school record in the women's weight throw to finish fourth to start the day for the Spartans. On her second throw of the first round, she threw 22.50m to set the new school record. Her previous record was 22.35m set in 2025. In the final round, she was not able to top 22.50m.
Dylan Terryberry finished seventh in the heptathlon with the final three events on Friday. In the 60m hurdles, he finished sixth with a personal best. He ran a 8.37 for 891 points. In the pole vault, he followed up with another PR. With a vault of 4.20m, he finished 10th for 673 points. In the final event the 1000m, Terryberry finished eighth. His time of 2:50.61 earned him 759 points. He ended seventh overall with 5,334 points.
The Spartans continued to have a strong showing in field events. In the men's weight throw, Xavier Griffiths finished fifth with a best throw of 21.02m, which was a personal best. The throw was No. 7 all-time in Michigan State history.
In the men's long jump, Carter Bissell came up big with another strong performance. He finished sixth with a personal-best jump of 7.50m. He topped his PR three times in the event. The 7.50m was No. 4 all-time at MSU.
In the final event of the night, Logan Allen advanced to the final in the men's 60m hurdles. Allen qualified sixth with a time of 7.77.
On the track, both Lexy Wilson and Elizabeth Anderson found a place in top-10 list in the women's 400m. Wilson ran a personal best with a time of 54.31 and now stands No.5 on the MSU top 10 list. Anderson crossed the line in 54.94, which was a PR and is No. 8 all-time at Michigan State. Neither advanced to the final.
On the final day of the championships, the Spartans will be in action on the track and field. Michigan State will start the day at 11:30 a.m. in the men's high jump, featuring Brady Schultz. Also at 11:30 a.m., Leila Barmore will be in action in the triple jump. The championship will end with the women's 4x400 relay at 4:50 p.m., followed by the men's at 5:20 p.m.
