The game will be televised on FS1 with Tim Brando (play-by-play), Devin Gardner (analyst) and Josh Sims on the call (sidelines).
• MSU went 3-0 to open the season with home nonconference victories against Western Michigan, Boston College and Youngstown State before falling to No. 25 USC in Los Angeles in the Big Ten opener, 45-31, on Sept. 20. The Spartans went 1-1 last season following a bye week in Jonathan Smith's first year in East Lansing (home win over Iowa on Oct. 19; road loss at Illinois on Nov. 16).
• Nebraska enters the game at 3-1 and 0-1 in the Big Ten following a 30-27 home loss to Michigan on Sept. 20. The Huskers are also coming off a bye week.
• The Spartans have won the last two matchups in the series, both in East Lansing. In the last meeting, MSU beat Nebraska, 20-17, on Nov. 4, 2023. During the 2021 season in Spartan Stadium, the Green and White rallied to defeat the Huskers in overtime, 23-20, as Matt Coghlin's 21-yard field goal sealed the comeback win.
• Saturday's game marks the 14th all-time meeting between Michigan State and Nebraska and the first in Lincoln since 2018, a 9-6 victory for the Huskers. Nebraska leads the all-time series, 9-4, including a 6-1 advantage in Lincoln, but MSU has won four of the last six meetings. The Spartans are 4-4 against the Huskers in Big Ten games. MSU's lone win in Lincoln came during the 2013 Big Ten and Rose Bowl Championship season.

Kelly ranks sixth in the Big Ten in receiving yards per game (79.3) and eighth in receptions per game (5.3). He also ranks ninth in the FBS in punt returns with a 19.7-yard average, boosted by his 83-yard return in Week 3 against Youngstown State.
