EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State field hockey team will feature a freshman student-athlete every week this fall in attempt to "Meet the Spartans". This week freshman Shelby Supica (Ann Arbor, Michigan) sat down with msuspartans.com to answer some questions.

Why you chose MSU: It's far enough away from home (Ann Arbor), but still close enough so my family could come to games. I loved the team and coaches and it's a big ten school
Favorite movie: Miracle with Bridesmaids as a close second
Favorite food: Steak, Barbeque chicken, Barbeque ribs
Favorite color: Tiffany blue
Favorite quote: "Live in the moment"
Who would play you in a movie: Cameron Diaz
Pregame ritual: Right sock on, left sock on, right shoe on, left shoe on, right shin guard, left shin guard on, one minute plank
