EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State field hockey team will feature a freshman student-athlete every week this fall in attempt to "Meet the Spartans". This week freshman MaryClaire Abbott (Hereford, Md.) sat down with msuspartans.com to answer some questions.

Favorite spot on campus: Grand River because that is where all the good food is
Why you chose MSU: My mother went here and it has always been my dream to be a Spartan
