EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State field hockey team will feature a student-athlete every week this spring in attempt to "Meet the Spartans". This week red-shirt sophomore Corey Block (Chelsea, Mich.) sat down with msuspartans.com to answer some questions about her hobbies and why she chose to come to MSU. Block was one of seven Spartans in 2010 to start every game. The back recorded a career-high two defensive saves last season.

Favorite thing to do besides play field hockey: To be outside either swimming in my lake, rollerblading, or in the winter going sledding.

Favorite game played at MSU: Beating Michigan to win the Big Ten conference title in 2009
Funny memory of a team mate or team trip: When our bus broke down on the way back from Louisville and we played baseball with old tires, a water bottle, and a board for hours at the garage while we waited.
