EAST LANSING, Mich.- - The Michigan State field hockey team will feature a student-athlete every two weeks this spring in attempt to "Meet the Spartans". This week, incoming freshman Alexis Ahern (Buffalo, NY) sat down with msuspartans.com to answer some questions about attending school at Michigan State and what some of her off the field interests are.

Best part about attending school at MSU:  Traditional atmosphere and being on such a fun team!

Favorite movie:  The Ugly Truth 
Favorite food:  Belgian chocolate sprinkles on a bagel

What do you want to be when you grow up:  Not sure yet, but something in the science/math field
Most exotic place you have traveled to:  California

Reason you came to school at MSU:  I love the family atmosphere, the field hockey team is so fun, and I love the fact that it's a big school with big-time sports teams.
Favorite TV show:  Little People Big World, and Keeping up with the Kardashians
Favorite celebrity: Sidney Crosby
Favorite thing to do besides play field hockey:  Have fun with my team and go out to eat.
