-- This is the first-ever meeting between Michigan State and Alcorn State.

-- MSU's Lindsay Bowen now has 211 three-pointers in her career, seven shy of the school record of 218 set by Maxann Reese (1996-2000).
-- MSU's Kristin Haynie surpassed the 150 mark in assists this season (153) and 100 mark in single-season steals (102). She is now one steal away from the single-season school record of 103, set by Marline Ferguson in 1991-92. She now has school career records of 538 assists and 331 steals.
-- MSU center Kelli Roehrig has now had seven straight double-figure scoring efforts and 26 this season.
-- MSU's Lindsay Bowen has now had four straight double-figure scoring games (16 of her last 18 games).
