Big Ten Announces 2026-27 Women’s Basketball Home and Away Opponents

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State women's basketball and the Big Ten Conference announced the 2026-27 conference breakdown on Monday.
For the sixth-straight season, the Big Ten will play an 18-game schedule, after playing a 20-game schedule during the 2020-21 campaign. The conference also played an 18-game league schedule in both 2018-19 and 2019-20.
The rivalry between MSU and Michigan remains intact, playing both in East Lansing and Ann Arbor. In East Lansing, Michigan State will host Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue, Washington and Wisconsin. On the road, MSU will take on Illinois, Maryland, Nebraska, Northwestern, Ohio State, Rutgers, UCLA and USC.
The complete schedule with the dates will be announced at a later date.
Last season, the Spartans went 23-9, advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Michigan State earned a No. 5 seed, which was its highest seed since the 2015-16 season. The Spartans' return a pair of All-Big Ten honorees in graduate guard Theryn Hallock and redshirt-junior guard Kennedy Blair.
