Field Hockey's Kyser Named To NCAA All-Tournament Team

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Michigan State field hockey junior Alexandra Kyser (Columbus, Ohio) was named to the NCAA All-Tournament Team at the conclusion of the national championship game on Sunday, Nov. 24.
Kyser was a key component to the Spartan defense in the program's first appearance in the NCAA Final Four on Friday, Nov. 22. The junior co-captain posted several takeaways and one defensive save during Michigan State's 3-0 loss to eventual national champion Wake Forest.
Kyser was crutial to the Spartans' 2-1 tournament run, scoring the first goal against Harvard, while claiming two defensive saves in the 4-3 MSU victory on Nov. 16 and converting her penalty stroke attempt in Michigan State's 2-1 shootout victory over Northeastern on Nov. 17.
