2011: Spent most of the dual season as a member of the varsity eight boat, but was in the second varsity for Big Tens and the NCAA Championships... Recognized as a CRCA Scholar Athlete... Took a second place finish in the Petite Finals of the NCAA Regatta with a time of 6:37.28, a 00:00.15 margin over Princeton... Rowed with the second varsity eight at the Big Ten Championships where the Spartans came in fifth place with a time of 6:34.71.... Helped the Spartans capture the Dale England Cup with a sweep of Boston University, Gonzaga and Indiana and posted a 4.1 second victory over the Hoosiers ... Captured two Big Ten victories over Minnesota and Wisconsin with the varsity eight in the Spartans[apos] only home race ... Swept Virginia, USC and Texas with winning margins of 5.6 seconds, 6.4 seconds and 4.5 seconds with the second varsity eight... Notched a 3.7 second victory over No. 17 Washington State with the varsity eight.
Prior to MSU: Attended Rollins College in Orlando, Fl. before transferring to MSU... Was named the Sunshine State Conference 2009 Rower of the Year... Also named to the 2009 All-Conference Rowing Team and All-Conference Freshman/Novice Rowing team in the Sunshine State Conference... Named to the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association 2010 All-American Team and the 2010 Sunshine State All-Conference Rowing Team.
