2015: Competed on bars in the season-opener at Bowling Green (1/10) and topped her 2014 average, recording a score of 9.700 ... Scored a career-high 9.875 and won bars for the first time as a Spartan at Rutgers (1/31) ... Made her Spartan debut on vault against Pittsburgh (2/15), placing first with a 9.850 ... Tied a career-best 9.875 on bars against Arizona, BGSU and Eastern Michigan (3/6), placing second.
2014: Competed as a bars specialist for the Spartans in every regular season meet... Set a career-high score of 9.825 on bars at the B1G Quad Meet (Mar. 15).
Prior to MSU: Graduated Martin Luther High School where she was a four-time Honor Roll member...Three-time regional, state, and National Invitational Tournament (2010, 2011, 2012)...Placed third (2010, 2011) in the All-Around at states...State champion in the vault (2011) and floor (2012) events.
Personal: Born November 5, 1995...Daughter of Robert and Nicole Smith...Plans to major in kinesiology.
