FRESHMAN (2024-25): Made history by earning MSU’s first-ever Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor on February 5, 2025 … Finished the season with an outstanding 20-12 singles record and a strong 15-11 doubles record, playing mostly at No. 4 singles, but also saw action at No. 3 singles and one match at No. 2 singles, and mostly at No. 1 doubles … Posted five-match win streak, starting on Jan. 19, through Feb. 2, including three-set upset over No. 74 Duncan Chan, 6-3, 2-6, 6-4, in MSU’s loss at No. 2 TCU ... Also upset No. 92 Wissam Abderrahman of Clemson, 6-4, 6-3, to finish 2-0 against Top 100 opponents ... Went 5-2 in B1G action, including three-match win streak from April 11-25, with wins over USC and Michigan opponents in the regular-season and USC in the B1G Tournament opener ... Finished the season ranked No. 118 in the ITA Rankings.

PERSONAL: Son of Roger and Denise Forbes ... Has two older siblings Luke and Abbey ... Older sister, Abbey, was a member of the women’s tennis team at North Carolina, and was a member of the Tar Heels’ 2023 NCAA National Championship and 2024 ACC Championship teams ... Human biology major.
