FRESHMAN (2024-25): Was MSU’s Big Ten Sportsmanship Award recipient ... Finished the season with a 16-11 singles record and an 11-8 doubles record, including going 6-2 in dual action, playing mostly at No. 6 singles (4-1), but also seeing action at No. 5 (2-1) … Earned Big Ten Player of the Week on Oct. 30 for performance competing at the Louisville Classic, where he put up three wins on the board against just one loss, bouncing back from opening the tournament with a loss by posting three-straight wins, dominating Russell Lokko from Louisville, securing a 6-4, 6-0 win, then earned another victory by defeating Evan Duggal from Louisville 6-3, 6-2, and wrapped up the weekend tournament with an impressive 6-0, 6-3 win over Matthew Nice from Bellarmine ... Picked up Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors on April 9 for performance in helping MSU earn wins over No. 66 Northwestern and No. 24 Illinois ... In the 6-1 victory over Northwestern, teamed with senior Max Sheldon and secured the doubles point for the Spartans with a dominant 6-2 victory over Max Bengtsson and Vincent Yang of Northwestern, and then extended the Spartans’ lead with an impressive 7-5, 6-2 singles win against Vincent Yang from NU ... In the shutout upset Victory for MSU over Illinois, against partnered with Max Sheldon and cruised past Illinois’ Jeremy Zhang and Mathis Debru with a commanding 6-1 win in doubles play, for MSU’s first win of the day and boosting the Spartans to the doubles point on the way to the No. 31 Spartans’ 4-0 upset sweep over the No. 24 Illini ... Logged a pair of four-match win streaks, first in the fall from Oct. 27 to Nov. 11 with his last three matches at the Louisville Classic and adding win in opening match of the B1G Indoor Championships ... Added second four-match win streak from March 29-May 2, spanning regular-season and postseason, including win over Alex Cairo of Michigan with straight-set triumph, 7-6 (7-5), 6-3, in milestone Victory for MSU for first win over Michigan since 2003 and adding win over Nazar Fedoryshyn of North Alabama in the NCAA Tournament, helping Spartans’ clinch first-round win.
