Volunteer Assistant Cody Cross is in his first year at Michigan State.
Cross originates from Portland, Michigan where he began playing tennis at the age of 5 and began coaching the sport at just age 16. As a junior player, he was ranked in Michigan and was named All-State his junior and senior years of high school.
Attending Ferris State University while playing on the Bulldog club tennis team, Cross graduated in 2014 with a BA in Professional Tennis Management and certifications from the PTR and USPTA in 10 & Under, Adult, and Performance tennis. He has worked as a tennis pro at the world renowned Topnotch Resort and Spa in Stowe, Vermont, and is currently a teaching professional at the MSU Indoor Center.
