Hailing from Holland, Michigan, graduate athletic trainer Annie Japinga is a first year graduate student who is working towards a Masters in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Athletic Training. Graduating from Holland High School, Japinga completed her undergraduate Athletic Training degree at Hope College as she graduated in May of this year.

Japinga is living her dream job, which is to work in a collegiate athletic training setting.

"I've always wanted to experience a Big Ten atmosphere and learning environment, and I'm so excited about the education and learning opportunities that I will have here over the next two years."
