A three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree ... Ended his Spartan career with 12 saves, good for tied for No. 5 on MSU’s career saves list.
2023 (SENIOR): Earned the Craig Hendricks Spartan Spirit Award for the second-straight season, the Craig Hendricks Spartan Spirit Award is given to the most positive team player who is enthusiastic, trustworthy, conscientious, hard-working, and good humored in honor of Spartan Baseball alum Craig Hendricks ... Was third in the B1G and tied for 19th in the NCAA in saves with 10 ... The Spartan closer led the MSU pitching staff by posting a 5-0 record with a 3.61 ERA, with 43 strikeouts in 26 appearances ... Along with leading the staff in saves (10), also topped staff in ERA (3.61), appearances (26), games in relief (26), games finished (25), tied for lead in won-loss percentage (1.000), tied for second in wins (5), third in strikeouts (43) and fifth in strikeouts looking (11) ... Was one of four pitchers on staff to go undefeated, but only one doing so with more than one win ... Also second on staff for fewest walks with more than 10 appearances (10 walks), a mark that would have led B1G but didn’t have enough IP to qualify ... One of his gutsiest performances came in the B1G Tournament, when he came on in the fifth inning in the elimination game against Rutgers and finished the game, earning the win in the 6-4 Victory for MSU ... Went on to finish the game, going a career-high 4.2 IP with four Ks, spraying three hits and walking one while not allowing any runs in facing a career-high 19 batters, earning the win to improve to 5-0 on the season ... Made 21 appearances on the mound with two starts, posting two saves to go with a 3-3 record and a 4.33 ERA, logging 26 strikeouts in 43.2 IP ... Tied career-high with five strikeouts in 2.2 IP of relief at Abilene Christian (Feb. 27), one of five outings with multiple strikeouts, adding three outings without yielding a hit and eight appearances without a run ... Logged four Ks in 2.2 IP vs. Eastern Michigan (April 20), with just two hits and no runs ... Helped the Stars compile a 36-8 overall record, ending the regular season ranked seventh in the country, advancing to the NJCAA Region XII tournament, after winning the Eastern Conference with a 27-1 league mark ... Was named a Second-Team All-American as a freshman ...
