2012 (JUNIOR): Made five appearances out of the bullpen . . . threw 4 1/3 innings and compiled a 4.15 ERA . . . pitched a scoreless 14th inning at Cincinnati (3/17) to earn the win as the Spartans defeated the Bearcats, 5-4 . . . also threw scoreless frames against Oakland (3/25), Eastern Michigan (4/11) and Illinois (5/4). SUMMER 2011: Named an all-star in the Great Lakes Collegiate League as he compiled a 1.88 ERA and collected 21 strikeouts in 24 innings pitched for the Cincinnati Steam. 2011 (SOPHOMORE): Made nine appearances (eight relief, one start) and pitched 10.2 innings . . . opponents hit .256 against him . . . did not allow a run in his eight relief appearances (8.1 innings) . . . started his first career game at Western Michigan on May 10 and took the loss (2.0 IP, 6 ER, 7 H) . . .
