2024 SUMMER: Helped the Newport Gulls to the NECBL Championship, hitting .235 with 31 hits, including eight doubles and one triple, with 20 RBI, adding four strikeouts ... Earned Second-Team All-NECBL honors {click here to read release} ... Named to the NECBL All-Star Game, knocking a double.
2024 (REDSHIRT-SOPHOMORE): Earned Academic All-Big Ten accolades ... One of three Spartans to both start and play in all 51 games, starting all 51 games at shortstop ... Posted a .257 average with 46 hits, seven doubles and three HR, with 19 RBI, adding 41 runs scored, 15 walks and nine steals ... Led team in sac bunts (5), along with ranking tied for second on team in runs scored (41), second in hit by pitch (9), third in stolen bases (9), tied for fifth in doubles (7) and fifth in both hits (46) and at bats (179) ... 2023 (FRESHMAN): Played in seven games with one start, logging two hits and both went for doubles, with two RBI and two runs scored in 11 at bats, posting a .365 slugging percentage and a .308 on-base percentage ... Made Spartan debut on March 4 at Charleston Southern ... Drew bases-loaded walk for first RBI of collegiate career (April 14) vs. Western Illinois ... Made first start as a Spartan next day (April 15) and knocked double down the left-field line for first hit for the Green & White and got the souvenir ball, before later coming around to score run ... Added RBI double and scored a run after starting at DH against Central Michigan (May 16) ... Logged two putouts and two assists in playing shortstop and third base.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a three-year letterwinner at Lincoln Way East High School for head coach Eric Brauer ... Earned all-conference honors as a senior, helping the Griffons to a 22-8 mark ... Helped LW East win their regional opener with 10-0 win over Joliet Central, getting the win on the mound and also posting multiple hits and multiple RBI at the plate ... Earned all-conference accolades as a junior after leading team with a .385 average with four HR, 32 RBI and a .656 slugging percentage at the plate ... On the mound, notched a 1.15 ERA with 35 strikeouts on the mound, in helping the Griffons to a 27-3 record in junior season on the way to the conference championship ... Lists San Diego Padres star Fernando Tatis Jr. as his biggest baseball influence because like him, he’s a tall shortstop and he’s really good, and also Mike Trout because he’s the best to ever play the game ...
