Held opposing batters to a .228 batting average, the sixth-best mark in the Big Ten ... Ranked second on the team and fourth in the conference with 68 strikeouts, 22 of which were looking ... Struck out a career-high nine batters in 6.0 innings vs. Eastern Michigan (4/1) to earn his first win of the season ... His 32 runs allowed were ninth fewest in the Big Ten among qualifying pitchers, while his 55 hits allowed were tied for third ...
