Ryker Lee Named Preseason Second Team All-Big Ten

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State hockey sophomore forward Ryker Lee has been tabbed to the Preseason All-Big Ten Second Team. Lee is the only Spartan representative among the two preseason six-man squads despite MSU being picked to finish second in the conference by the league's head coaches.
Lee is coming off a strong freshman season at Michigan State, tallying 30 points (15g-15a-30p) in 35 games, missing just two games all year due to his U.S. Junior National Team commitment last winter. Lee's 30 points ranked fourth on the team overall, and his 15 goals were third among Spartans. His eight multi-point games ranked fourth on the team and he produced a pair of multi-goal games late in the season against Notre Dame and Minnesota. Lee's season concluded with an invite to Team USA camp ahead of the 2026 IIHF World Championships.
Michigan State was picked to finish second in the Big Ten behind rival Michigan by the league's head coaches. The Spartans have won three consecutive Big Ten regular season titles under Head Coach Adam Nightingale and added Big Ten Tournament trophies in 2024 and 2025.
