Michigan State Men’s Tennis Announces Fall 2026 Schedule

First-year head coach Mike Flowers announces men’s tennis fall competition schedule.
EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Michigan State's men's tennis coach Mike Flowers has announced the Spartans' 2026 fall match-ups.
Flowers took over at the helm for the Spartans in his first year as head coach after serving as assistant coach for four years. Alongside Coach Flowers will be assistant coach Vince Orlando, who returned to the Spartan staff after serving as an assistant coach at MSU from January-May 2025, before coaching at Ole Miss for the 2025-26 season. Vince Orlando is the son of former MSU men's tennis coaching legend Gene Orlando, who retired in 2022 after 31 seasons at the helm of the Spartans and is the winningest coach in program history with 361 victories.
The reigning Big Ten Conference champion Spartans will look to build off an impressive 19-9 record last season, which concluded in the second round of the NCAA Tournament for a third-straight year.
Michigan State will open its fall season in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for the ITA All-American Championships from Saturday to Sunday, Sept. 19-27.
Following the trip to Oklahoma, MSU will head out to the West Coast for individuals in the Battle in the Bay Tournament in San Francisco, California, from Thursday to Sunday, Oct. 1-4.
The Spartans will then return to Michigan for the Hope College RSM Invite in Holland, Michigan, from Friday to Sunday, Oct. 2-4, followed by a drive down to Columbus, Ohio, for the ITA Regionals through Thursday to Monday, Oct. 15-19.
MSU continues the season with a battle in the Louisville Invite in Louisville, Kentucky, from Friday to Monday, Oct. 23-25.
Up next for the Green and White will be the Big Ten Indoors Tournament, held from Thursday to Sunday, Oct. 29-Nov. 1, along with an ITA Sectionals invite down in Waco, Texas, being held Thursday to Sunday, Nov. 5-8.
The fall season ends in Athens, Georgia, for the NCAA Individual Championships, taking place Tuesday to Sunday, Nov. 17-22.
The spring dual match schedule will be announced at a later date.
