 Michigan State has its only in-state competition of the season on Saturday when it travels down the road to Eastern Michigan. Â
Racing will take place on Ford Lake beginning at 10 am with the Third Varsity/Novice Eight. Racing will be on 10-minute centers, finishing with the varsity eight race at 10:45 am.  The Spartans have raced just once this spring, at the Sarasota 2K (Formerly the Sunshine State regatta). The Spartans sent four of its five boats into the petite finals in Sarasota.
Lineups for Saturday's racing will be posted late Friday afternoon. Â
