Adrian Earns All-American Honors at NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State's Elle Adrian earned All-American honors in the women's weight throw on Friday at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Adrian finished 10th overall to capture second-team All-American honors. On her first throw of the night, she threw 21.59m. Adrian would not make the final, but she did finish in the top 10. Minnesota's Anthonett Nabwe won the event with a throw of 25.13m on her fifth attempt.
This was Adrian's second All-American honor after capturing second-team honors last season as well. Adrian improved her performance from last season when she finished 16th.
Michigan State track & field concludes action at the NCAA Indoor Championships with Dillon Morlock competing in the men's shot put. Morlock is competing in his first NCAA Indoor Championship.
The men's shot put is set to begin on Saturday, March 14 at 2 p.m. (ET).
