EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State track & field will make its third trip in five weeks to Ann Arbor with sprinters and throwers slated to compete in the Michigan Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 7 at the U-M Indoor Track & Field Building.

The Spartans are coming off a successful weekend in two separate meets at the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational in Louisville, Kentucky, and the Meyo Invitational in Notre Dame, Indiana.

At the Meyo Invitational, thrower Rylan Finstrom won the women's shot put with a new personal-best throw of 16.55m, which ranks as the second furthest throw in MSU women's indoor history. Sophia Lucki finished second in the mile with a new personal-best 4:40.70, ranking eighth on MSU all-time. On the men's side of things, thrower Dillion Morlock won the men's shot put with a new personal-best throw of 19.09m, placing him fourth on the all-time list of furthest throws in MSU men's indoor history. Joining Dillion Morlock on the podium was brother Colby (Morlock), who finished second in the men's shot put with a throw of 18.40m, which places seventh on the MSU all-time men's indoor shot-put distances. At the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational, graduate student Logan Allen finished second and tied the school record in the 60m hurdles with a time of 7.77. Graduate student Dylan Terryberry joined Allen at the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational, setting a new personal-best in the heptathlon with 5,406 points, ranking eighth best in MSU history.

Michigan Invitational Field Events:
Saturday's schedule for the Spartans begins with the women's weight throw at 10 a.m., with Elle Adrian, Margaret Jones and Rylan Finstrom as the three Spartan competing. Following the weight throw, Michigan State will have Gabrielle Jeffries as the lone Spartan competing in the women's long jump, Korin Whitcomb competing in the women's high jump, and Sophia Mettes and Natalie Blake competing in the women's shot put, with all three events slated to begin at 10:30 a.m. At 11:30 a.m., the men's weight throw will begin with Xaiver Griffiths, Dalton DeBeau, and Dillion Morlock as the Spartan trio competing. The field events for MSU will continue at 1:00 p.m. when Rylan Finstrom and Margaret Jones compete in the women's shot put. Adam Blue and Landon Cosby will represent Michigan State in the men's pole vault, which begins at 1:30 p.m. The Spartans will conclude the running events with Dillion and Colby Morlock in action in the men's shot put.

Michigan Invitational Running Events:
For Michigan State, the running events will begin at 11:40 a.m., with Logan Allen as the lone MSU representative in the prelims of the men's 60m hurdles. Cameron Cheetam, Jeremy Dixon, and Drew Novak will compete in the prelims of the 60m dash, which begins at 12:10 p.m. In the women's 400m dash, Alexys Wilson will compete for Michigan State, which begins at 1:20 p.m. In the 200m dash, Wilson will represent the women's side with Drew Novak competing on the men's side of things. The meet will end at 3:35 p.m. with the 4x400 relay.

Following the Michigan Invitational, MSU will split up for a pair of meets next weekend at the Heartland Invitational in Indianapolis, Indiana, and the David Hemery Valentine Invitational, hosted by Boston University. Both meets will take place on Friday Feb. 13 and will continue through Saturday Feb. 14.
