East Lansing, Mich. – No. 10 Michigan State hits the road this weekend, playing Wisconsin on Friday, Feb. 13 (8 p.m., FOX). The Spartans are coming off an 85-82 overtime win over Illinois last Saturday, with redshirt sophomore guard Jeremy Fears Jr. scoring 26 points and handing out 15 assists in the win.

Friday night's game will air live on FOX, with Jason Benetti and former Spartan All-American Steve Smith calling all of the action. One of the staples of Michigan State men's basketball under Head Coach Tom Izzo has been to Defend, Rebound & Run.
This year, the Spartans have been doing just that.
MSU ranks No. 19 nationally in scoring defense (65.6 ppg), No. 2 nationally in rebound margin (+13.1), No. 13 in rebounds per game (41.4 rpg) and No. 12 nationally in fast break points per game (17.0 ppg).
In addition, the Spartans rank No. 4 nationally, per KenPom, in adjusted defensive efficiency.

Core Four

MSU Head Coach Tom Izzo has said that the success of the Spartans this season would largely depend on the team's captains, seniors Carson Cooper and Jaxon Kohler, junior Coen Carr and redshirt sophomore Jeremy Fears Jr.
