Ravensbergen Named Big Ten Third Star of the Week

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State hockey freshman goaltender Joshua Ravensbergen was named Big Ten Third Star of the Week on Tuesday, marking the first weekly conference honor of his collegiate career.

It's the first conference honor of the season for Michigan State and the first since Porter Martone was named Second Star of the Week on February 24, 2026. Ravensbergen is the first Spartan goalie to earn the weekly nod since Trey Augustine was named Big Ten Second Star of the Week on December 30, 2025.

Last weekend in Rochester, New York, Ravensbergen made 25 saves on 26 chances in front of a hostile crowd of 10,556 during RIT's Brick City Homecoming game to earn his second win of the season. Ravensbergen made 15 saves in the third period alone and five saves on RIT power play chances throughout the contest.
