This Week In Spartan Athletics – December 16
Here's a look at the week ahead (December 16-22) for Michigan State Athletics:
Men's Basketball
The ninth-ranked Spartans are in action for a pair of contests this week. Tuesday, MSU hosts Toledo at 6:30 p.m. at the Breslin Center. Saturday, Michigan State and Oakland will square off at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit at noon.
Wrestling
Michigan State will host its first home dual on Thursday as it welcomes American to East Lansing. It's the first of six home duals at Jenison Field House this season.
Women's Basketball
No. 24 Michigan State wraps up non-conference action as it plays in the Cherokee Invitational Sunday and Monday in Cherokee, North Carolina. The Spartans open the four-team event against Indiana State on Sunday. The following day, MSU will face either Old Dominion or Ole Miss.
