Hockey
No. 1 Michigan State will host No. 3 Penn State in the opening weekend of Big Ten action for the Spartans. Friday, MSU plays PSU at 7 p.m. Saturday is Military Appreciation Day when the Spartans and Nittany Lions face off at 4 p.m.
Women's Basketball
No. 23 Michigan State opens the season Tuesday against Mercyhurst at 6:30 p.m. at Breslin Center. Sunday, the Spartans host Eastern Michigan at 2 p.m. This is Robyn Fralick's third season as head coach on the Michigan State sideline. MSU returns a pair of all-conference honorees in senior forward Grace VanSlooten and senior guard Theryn Hallock.
Men's Basketball
Following a win in the season opener, No. 22 Michigan State hosts No. 14 Arkansas Saturday at Breslin Center at 7 p.m. It's a matchup between Hall of Fame coaches as Tom Izzo and John Calipari square off on the sidelines.
Women's Soccer
No. 2 seed Michigan State will face No. 3 seed UCLA in the Big Ten Tournament semifinals Thursday at 7 p.m. on Big Ten Network in St. Louis. The winner will advance to the championship game on Sunday at 2 p.m., and the NCAA Championship bracket will be announced on Monday. MSU had six athletes earn All-Big Ten honors on Tuesday, including Big Ten Forward of the Year Kennedy Bell.
Volleyball
Michigan State travels to the Pacific Northwest for its first trip to Washington and Oregon as Big Ten opponents. Friday night, the Spartans will face the Huskies in Seattle, followed by a Sunday afternoon contest against the Ducks in Eugene.
Men's Soccer
Michigan State closes out the season Friday night (8 p.m.) vs. No. 1 Maryland at DeMartin Stadium. It's Season Ticket Member Appreciation Day, with season ticket members invited to take a photo on the field postgame.
Men's Tennis
Members of the men's tennis team will compete in the ITA Sectional Championships Thursday through Sunday in Ann Arbor. This will be the last chance for some of the top players from across the country to qualify for the 2025 NCAA Individual Championships. Ozan Baris and Matthew Forbes have already qualified for the NCAA Championships, which will begin on Nov. 18.

Spartan Wrestling will see its first action of the season on Saturday at the Michigan State Open at Jenison Field House.
