LAST TIME OUT
The Spartans look to bounce back after dropping two matches at ITA Kick-Off Weekend in Athens, Georgia. MSU opened up the weekend against No. 3-ranked Georgia, falling 7-0, before playing Furman to close the tournament. After dropping the doubles point, Michigan State rallied to a 3-1 lead with three-consecutive singles wins, before eventually falling 4-3.
QUOTING COACH BRUNO
"Losing that tough one against Furman, that one hurts. I think the girls need to have it hurt for a little bit and figure out when it's time for us to play better in certain moments and put things onto our terms and play the way that we want to play; we just have to do that all the time, more consistently. That's what we're looking for going into this weekend. We just have to learn from that loss."
UP NEXT
Michigan State heads into a three-match week next week, consisting of one road match and two at home. MSU travels to Alabama on Thursday, Feb. 6 at 6 p.m. before returning home for a doubleheader at the MSU Indoor Tennis Facility on Saturday, Feb. 8 against Xavier (10 a.m.) and Montana (2 p.m.).
