MSU Baseball To Play Doubleheader Saturday

Spartans will take on Northwestern in twinbill starting at 12:05 p.m.; Alumni Day festivities as planned.
EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Due to inclement weather in the East Lansing forecast for Saturday night and Sunday morning, Michigan State baseball will now play a doubleheader against Northwestern on Saturday afternoon, starting at 12:05 p.m. at McLane Stadium at Kobs Field.
MSU Alumni Day festivities will remain as planned, with the tailgate starting at 2 p.m. and introductions and recognition will be during game two. Members of the 1954 College World Series team will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the second game.
Saturday will be games two and three of the weekend series, after MSU won the opener, 8-3, Friday night.
Any further schedule updates due to weather will be announced on www.MSUSpartans.com and on twitter @statebaseball.
Fans can also follow Spartan baseball action through "Live Stats," "Listen Live" and "Watch Live" links found at MSUSpartans.com. The games will be video streamed on BTN2Go, and will also be carried on the Spartan Sports Network live audio stream.
