EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Michigan State swimming and diving travels to Kenyon College on Saturday, Nov. 9 for a road dual. The meet begins at 2 p.m.
The Kenyon men's and women's teams have had a successful start to the 2019-20 season so far. The Lords are currently 2-0 and the Ladies are 1-1, both with wins over Xavier University.
"They've got a really good team at Kenyon. They're solid all the way across the board," said head coach Matt Gianiodis. "They're perennial Division III national title contenders and Jess Book was an assistant coach at Ohio State for a long time. This will be the third year that we've swam against them. We're looking forward to going down there to get ready for the Meet of Champions invitational."
The Spartans are coming off a meet filled weekend against the University of Illinois-Chicago and Northwestern. A handful of Spartans had exceptional weekends.
Â
Junior Aidan Farley finished the two-day span with seven first-place finishes, including a leg in the record breaking 200 medley relay against Northwestern.
Senior Allie Heineman had two wins against the Wildcats, in both the 50 and 100 freestyle.
Â
On the diving side, junior Amanda Ling took first in the 1-meter against both the Flames and the Wildcats. She also finished first in the 3-meter against Northwestern.
