Spartans In :60 is a new series from Michigan State athletics designed to tell the stories of our student-athletes and what shapes them, not only as competitors, but also as students and members of the MSU community.

Jasper Koenen is a senior on the men's tennis team from Baton Rouge, La. Over the past three seasons, Koenen has compiled 41 victories in singles play as well as 41 wins in doubles play. Majoring in hospitality business, Koenen is a two-time ITA Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-Big Ten honoree.
