
Men's Tennis Named ITA All-Academic Team

EAST LANSING, Mich.-- The Michigan State men's tennis team was recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) to receive ITA All-Academic team honors. In order to receive the honors, the team had to obtain a cumulative grade point average of 3.20.
In addition to the ITA All-Academic team honors, four Spartans earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors: junior Michael Dube (Human Biology), freshman Doug Francken (Finance), junior Jasper Koenen (Hospitality Business) and sophomore Ivan Rakic (Neuroscience).
To earn the Scholar-Athlete honors, the student-athlete must be a varsity letter winner enrolled at the school for at least two semesters with a GPA of 3.50 for the current academic year.
