
Michigan State to Host ITA Midwest Tennis Regional

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State women's tennis program is hosting the ITA Midwest Tennis Regional from Thursday, Oct. 20 through Tuesday, Oct. 25. Games will take place at eight indoor courts at the MSU Tennis Facility and 25 schools from the Midwest Region will be attending. First Round singles matches are set to begin at 9 a.m. on Thursday with doubles matches beginning on Friday at 2 p.m.

Below is a tentative schedule of when each round of play will begin. All times are subject to change.
Thursday
Singles Play Begins: 9 a.m.
Friday
Doubles Play Begins: 2 p.m.
Saturday
First and Second Round Singles

Doubles Quarterfinals: 10 a.m.
Doubles Semifinal: 11 a.m.
Singles Quarterfinals (4 matches): 1 p.m.
Monday
Doubles Final: 9 a.m.
Singles Quarterfinals (4 matches): 10 a.m.
Singles Semifinals: 1 p.m.
Tuesday
Singles Final: 9 a.m.
Michigan State will have two participants in the regional, freshman Samantha Memije and junior Aslina Chua. Memije will take on Kara Hall from the University of Michigan and Chua will face off with Stella Cliffe from Eastern Illinois in the first round of singles play on Friday.
